Education at the Climate Film Festival
EDUCATION
Community education and outreach is core to CFF’s mission. We partner with local environmental justice groups and place-based communities to support climate education throughout the five boroughs.
These partnerships engage in open conversation, bringing international climate cinema to neighborhoods across NYC and also platforming local voices and issues for a wider audience.
PANELS AND WORKSHOPS
In addition to our community programming, CFF hosts panels and workshops for filmmakers, supporting a new wave of climate cinema through a vibrant exchange of ideas, practical advice, and conversation.
ENVIRONMENTAL
JUSTICE
The impact of climate change disproportionately falls on underserved and historically marginalized communities. As we deal with rising temperatures and implement new climate solutions, we must put environmental justice at the heart of the conversation.

The Climate Film Festival is a new NYC institution, and we’re dedicated to making a festival that is accessible to all New Yorkers.
In order to do so, we partner with local, place-based organizations to ensure that the festival is present and engaged with the full, diverse spectrum of New York communities.
